MU-4000V

Our MU-4000V 5-Axis CNC Vertical Machining Center combines high efficiency and accuracy to deliver high-quality workpieces with many machined portions. Simultaneous 5-axis surfacing and turning enables one-chuck multi-sided machining, along with outstanding surface quality and dimensional accuracy. With one of the largest work envelopes in its class, this machine provides the flexibility to handle a wide range of workpieces while maintaining the most compact footprint possible.

This MU-4000V builds on our expertise in double-column-designed, highly accurate, highly rigid machining centers, and full 5-axis cutting capability. The machine provides easy access to the working area and loading position, reducing operator burden during setup. Long-term capabilities are enhanced by the availability of peripheral equipment, including pallet pools and matrix automatic tool changers.

A high-speed, high-power motor is available with either CAT 40 or HSK A-63 taper spindles and the option of turning mode on the C-axis table for added processing capability. This model incorporates a high-speed 32-position automatic tool changer and 1968 ipm rapid traverse, resulting in a powerful production capability.

The MU-4000V includes the latest full 5-axis simultaneous control system, the OSP-P300. The control offers functionalities such as the patented OSP absolute position encoders, which do not require a zero return, and the latest Easy Operation screens and software.

MU-10000H

The latest and largest of the Okuma MU range of 5-axis machining centers, this horizontal high-speed machine has a 1-meter-square pallet with capabilities of high torque and high speed to meet a variety of machining requirements. The machine is designed for the most difficult of applications with Okuma’s high standard of design stability and accuracy, providing the user with a long-lasting, efficient production platform.

MU-S600V

The MU-S600V vertical machining center is unique in the machine tool industry, providing the ability to connect multiple machines to achieve unattended and automated production line systems. This CNC machine tools is a flexible, 55-inch-wide, 5-axis space-saving VMC. It’s capable of achieving high production automation by connecting multiple machines and using built-in robotics to transfer parts from one machine to another. This slender machine has a wide machining area in a compact footprint, which maximizes both space utilization and productivity.

All six sides of the workpiece can be machined in a single set-up on two machines using Okuma’s innovative work handoff system. The MU-S600V has a standard 16 drum ATC with an optional 30 chain for increased efficiency. MILLAC 761V II

Our MILLAC 761V II vertical machining center is the ultimate in large machining centers with high rigidity, heavy cutting ability, and high operability. The strong base-column construction has optimally placed ribs to counter chatter and twisting during heavy-duty cutting. Traditional box ways are used for all axes to give high accuracy and rigidity over the long term. With the use of variable speed gear head and large-diameter spindle bearings, this machine can perform heavy-duty cutting and rapid machining with large torque from low to high speeds. The ample travel and table designed to withstand heavy loads are well-suited for the machining of large, heavy workpieces.

MILLAC 853PF-5X

Our MILLAC 853PF-5X is a state-of-the-art, 5-axis profiler that answers the need for shorter setup times with process-intensive machining of materials from aluminum to titanium to produce high-quality complex components. This is an ideal machine for aerospace airframe and wing spar components. Based on a powerfully built machine structure, all five axes (X-Y-Z-A-B) use the rugged cast-iron box ways to deliver the best combination of high rigidity, heavy load-carrying capacity, and low friction. In addition, the A/B axis can swivel/swing ± 35°. The standard full-enclosure shielding protects the operator from splashing coolant and flying chips, while the pedestal-mounted operator’s panel can be rolled to any position for operator convenience.

MF-46V

Our MB-46VA adopts a powerful double-column structure together with an integral rotary 2-APC for high accuracy and high production in a compact footprint. Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept is standard on this machine for unrivaled dimensional stability over long, continuous runs. This vertical machining center is equipped with a high-speed, high-power 40-taper 8,000 rpm spindle with a 15 hp VAC liquid-cooled integral motor. This model incorporates a 6-second rotary 2-APC and a high-speed 20-position automatic tool changer and 1,574-ipm rapid traverse, resulting in a powerful production capability.

MILLAC 800VH

This 5-axis, multi-plane machining center combines high speed with high rigidity. A box-type bed and a rectangular/wide sliding surface provide the machine with its highly rigid structure. Our MILLAC 800VH employs large ball screws and highly rigid supports with pre-tension to ensure stability in accuracy. The multi-face machining capability allows for the machining of complex workpieces in one setup. This improves part accuracy by eliminating the setup errors inherent in re-fixturing the part. In addition, the rotary-type 2APC is a standard feature to reduce setup time and to increase productivity.

MILLAC 1000VH
